Hello Everyone.. Hope all of you are fine?

I have a Hp laptop. Recently i want to upgrade the ram of That laptop. So some questions arised in this issue.. I hope experienced people will answer my question. Now i have 4GB 2400mhz SK hynix Ram.

 

1. According to hp, my laptop ram speed is 2133mhz, so should i buy the new ram 2133mhz or same 2400mhz? And do i have to buy the same brand ram?

 

2. When i open my laptop backcover,  i found some issue like i can't insert the same ram in another slot,because the two slots are slightly different.  The difference is just a metal pin. You can see the picture.

So due to this pin, i can't jnsert ram on this slot.

Now what can i do?
