HP Envy 13-d053sa notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I did a clean install of Win10 and updated to version 20H2 (OS build 19042.844).

When I insert SD card the machine does not respond.

There is no indication of a driver for this hardware in Device Manager.

Windows Updates tells me there are no more updates.

I downloaded HP Support Assistant and ran all relevant diagnostics checks with no errors.

How can I get the driver back?

Did you also install driver for the card reader ? Please use the following software/driver

              https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72116.exe

@Banhien

That fixed it.

I'm surprised that Windows Updates and/or HP Support Assistant diagnostics don't find the problem and fix it.

Thank you so much!

Is there a similar solution to the function keys not operating for brightness and volume adjustment?
