After an update, my laptop will not detect my external monitor. It also deleted my brighteness screen leverl, however I found the fix for that, but I still cannot find the fix after this update. Can anyone help?  I have uninstalled the display adaptor and reinstalled, with no luck.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

  1. Turn on the external monitor.

  2. Open the On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu.

  3. Uncheck No Input Signal Warning.

Unchecking the No Input Signal Warning option

  4. Confirm that the external display is now functional.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
