After update, laptop can not detect connection of multiple monitors
03-02-2021 01:11 PM - edited 03-02-2021 01:16 PM

After an update, my laptop will not detect my external monitor. It also deleted my brighteness screen leverl, however I found the fix for that, but I still cannot find the fix after this update. Can anyone help? I have uninstalled the display adaptor and reinstalled, with no luck.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:
-
Turn on the external monitor.
-
Open the On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu.
-
Uncheck No Input Signal Warning.
- Confirm that the external display is now functional.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
