Hai,are there m.2 slot in hp pavilion 14 al170tx? What type of ssd that recommend for hp pavilion 14 al170tx?

Hi:
It may be possible that since your notebook did not come with a M.2 SATA SSD from HP, that there is no M.2 slot.
If you look at chapter 3 of the service manual, an additional parts are needed to add the M.2 slot to the motherboard.
Solid-state drive bracket (not illustrated) 856067-001
Solid-state hard drive connector board (not illustrated) 856210-001
I highly recommend that you open up the notebook first to confirm there is a M.2 slot there before buying a SATA M.2 SSD, which would be the only type M.2 SSD that would work. NVMe SSD's are not supported in your notebook.
