HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cw1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

SIR, I just bought this laptop about a week ago. I tried to charge it to 100% to check for its battery timing, however the battery won't charge more than 87% on the first day. Next day, I tried again, this time it got stuck on 85%. Same day, I tried once again this time exhausting the laptop to 0% and then charging to 100% without using at all. This time it got stuck at 82%. It is now consistent on 82% maximum battery charge.

KINDLY HELP RESOVE THIS ISSUE

Hoping your prompt response.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the battery.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, boot to BIOS (Restart the computer and start tapping the F10 key to boot to BIOS) and check whether there is a battery care function, if yes, then change the battery charging percentage to 100% or disable that feature and test.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
