My laptop no longer turns on without being plugged in. Got this error message:

THE CMOS CHECKSUM IS INVALID. THE CMOS WILL BE RESET TO THE DEFAULT CONFIGURATION AND WILL BE REBOOTED. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BIOS SETUP OPTION TO SEE IF THEY CHANGE.

We are volunteers and can't get your battery replaced for free.

 

Is what you need, the HP part number for the battery?
