Re: BIOS card whitelist

According to the service manual for your PC these are the supported wifi modules:

● Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi adapter (with single antenna)

● Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi adapter (with single antenna)

● Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 802.11 bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo adapter (with single antenna), no support for Ubuntu Linux

● AQualcomm Atheros AR9485 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi adapter

● Ralink RT3290LE 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter

Hope it helps,

Re: BIOS card whitelist

Hi Marco

Page 22, 23:

WLAN + bluetooth cards are listed

There is no BIOS whitelist in this model

Your laptop came with single antenna wireless card from factory, so I'll suggest you to go for similar combo cards unless you can take it apart and check if 2 antennas are there on WLAN card

Manual shows single antenna cards
