HP Spectre x360 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 16-f0000 (39R26AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi all,

My less-than-one-year-old HP Spectre x360 16-f0000 has been experiencing BSODs quite often. They started about a month after the purchase (directly from HP) and have been happening so often. I've contacted WhatsApp support three times but they just told me to clean reinstall my windows. I've done that twice now but it didn't work. The BSODs usually occur while writing documents in MS Word or browsing the web. As I use this laptop for work, it's getting very upsetting as I keep losing data when the system shuts down... I've tried many things:

-Updating all drivers through HP support and when it didn't work, through suppliers

-Updating Windows

-Updating Windows to the insider program in hopes that the current Windows version was faulty

-Doing HP hardware diagnostics

-Windows diagnostics

-Reinstalling Windows

-etc.

The BSOD error is CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT most of the time. I'm not sure how to upload the minidump files for your review, but please see the images below.

Can someone kindly point me in the right direction, please? Due to the issue, I would send the laptop back at this point but obviously, I cannot because it's too late. As such, I would really like to fix it to be able to use it properly.

Hi @EgleLt,

As you have already tried the troubleshooting steps, this could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.
