Hello everyone,

My battery is not charging  and cannot use my laptop without having it plugged. I updated the BIOS and drivers, and is still not charging.

I ran the HP Hardware diagnostics tool and it appears that the fuse is blown.

I had my laptop for ~16 months and it has barely been used.

My warranty is expired according to HP, I tried contacting someone over the phone and online but it seems it is impossible to talk to an actual human.

I was wondering if you guys could suggest something, either to try to fix the battery on my own, or to contact someone from HP customer support.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

@NGuru

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
