HP Pavilion Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi HP,  I use a HP Pavilion Laptop with Laptop Serial No. [edited] & Product No. W2L55UA#ABA. The battery on my laptop does not get charged beyond 35% these days and when I take it outside for work reasons, it would not hold up for long, which makes think about replacing the battery. I am based in Bangalore, India and what would be the part number of the battery that I should be buying and what are the reliable locations to make this purchase. Your response would help. Looking forward for your response.

Hi,

The part number for the battery is 849909-855

Try performing online search in your country with part number and find an original or compatible battery.

On page 31 of the service manual, you can see the steps to replace the battery.

Hope it helps,

David
