Hi Team,

I bought this laptop on 22-May-20. Lately I have noticed that the battery backup has reduced considerably from around 4 hours to around 2 hours. I have tried all the options as suggested from HP support on WhatsApp. But the issue still remains.

Following is the detail of my battery for your reference. My laptop is only 7 months old & still under warranty. Not sure what the issue is here. I have updated the BIOS as advised by HP support to F.33.

Below is the screen shot of Battery Monitor app showing the battery discharging. Need your help to resolve the issue at the earliest.

Thanks in advance

Vishal

Awaiting support from the HP community. I have tested the battery using HP component testing & also calibrated my battery twice. I also tried using clean boot but there was not much of a difference. I have reinstalled Windows using media creation tool. Need guidance on the issue. Also please guide if my battery is faulty. Do I need to do a clean Windows install?

The_Fossette,

Thanks for your suggestion.

These are some basic steps that I have already tried before posting the issue here.

The virtual agent has some pre-defined steps which it tells you to perform & I have already done that. The steps have not helped.

Request your support to get this issue sorted at the earliest.
