Product: HP Notebook - 15q-bu011tx
Operating System: Linux

When i put my laptop in charging it turns red and shows charging for some time.

After sometime (10-20 seconds) it turns white and remains white(2-3 seconds) and shows battery discharging

This cycle goes on while the laptop is in charge.

While doing so my laptop does charge

 

Things i've tried and the results:

1. The laptop runs normally with white charging light after removing the battery and plugging in AC adapter.

2. The laptop runs normally on battery and without AC adapter.

3. HP PC Hardware diagnostics. Ran battery test and AC Adapter and both passed successfully.

4. Calibrated the battery. Discharged fully and then charging it fully.

 

Note: I have no access to other hp laptop or another AC adapter near me.
