HP Laptop 15-daxxx    Battery expanded and caused the casing to crack.  Also, the touchpad wouldn't work.  I took the battery out and the touchpad started working and the casing was no longer askew at the crack.  The battery has definitely expanded.  Are the batteries under warranty?  Why did HP select batteries that are going to cause other issues (cracked casing) as the battery ages?  My PC is no longer under warranty, so I suspect I have no recourse.  Just really, really disappointed in HP.  My cracked computer is obvious when others see it (they always comment on the crack), and it is not a good testament to HP laptops.
