Common problems for Battery
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about: Battery Reports, Hold a charge, Test and Calibrating Battery . Check out this link: Is your notebook plugged in and not charging?

HP ENVY 17 BW
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The Notebook works fine when AC adapter is attached, battery icon indicates 91% plugged in not charging. Notebook will not boot on battery alone, as soon as the AC is removed the Notebook stops. I have tried uninstallling battery device driver shutting down, then removing the battery etc. to no avail.

Any ideas, will phone support on Monday as I'm at my wits end with this.

Thanks for any help

Updating the BIOS didn't help, but I have a failure ID now. Just need to be able to send it to HP support for repair.

Thanks
