Product: HP Envy

So I’ve this laptop for 4 years and in the last 3 months it started giving me major problems. It started out by randomly locking itself and shutting down, then that stopped but was replaced by the issue of no longer holding a charge and recognizing when the power cord is plugged into it. The power cord doesn’t have any visible damage to it and I don’t know if it’s the battery or the cord or if I just need a new laptop.
