HP Recommended
HP Elitebook 2760p
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

1. Product Name and Number: HP Elitebook 2760p
2. Operating System installed: Windows 10 64-bit
3. Error message: No battery detected (tried three different batteries)
4. Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred: No

I am not able to update the BIOS because BIOS mistakenly assumes that the laptop is power on battery and asking me to plug in. There is an option to bypass this warning and continue updating the BIOS anyway, but the BIOS does not update successfully and after few 10s of minutes, the computer boots up without any BIOS update.

How to check on the hardware end if the connector pins for battery are actually functional?

Thanks!
