Product: Envy 360 15.6" Ryzen 7 with 16 GB ram
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Envy 360 15.6" Ryzen 7 with 16 GB ram. I just got this new 24th December 2019 and when I charge the computer at night to 100%, switch it off (not sleep), the battery has lost usually over 30% charge. I don't remember my previous laptops losing a third charge when switched off overnight. Do you think this is OK or is there something wrong and if so what could it be?

Hello, when do you have charge your PC?? It is yesterday or in December??

In just a night, it is not normal to loose more 5% of your battery. it can be a defaut on your PC or your model..

Thanks for your reply. I didn’t think it was right to lose so much charge overnight. I wonder what is causing the discharge? I’m assuming it could be serious for the long term survival of the laptop

If your laptop loose more 5% (same 2%) by night, power off, it is not normal. When I have said it is generally a laptor or a model is defect, so I recommend to you contact HP or your seller to know if you can to have an orher model.

It is damage you have bought this since more one month..
