HP pavilion 13 x360 PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Battery indicates either 0% (not charging) or 100%.

Not clear whether battery is really defect or not.

Diagnostics program UEFI is not working (after starting battery check the computer is not reacting anymore).

HP Support tool to check the battery results in an errot message (Message: Test is not working anymore).

Which check should i perform to come to the right diagnostics of the battery.

Download and install HP Support assistant on your PC and perform the Battery test.

In the test result page, click on advanced test result and check if the design capacity matches the current charge capacity.

Hi, thanks for your advice.

As indicated in my original mail I already used the HP support tool to check the status of the battery.

This HP support tool was the HP Support Assistant.

So i did try your solution, but got the error message.

Do you have more solutions?

Yvette.
