Hi, I had an email from my retailer stating my laptop had been identified as one with potentially overheating battery issue and fire risk.
I’ve searched the battery replacement pages and can’t find my model listed so just wondering if anyone by chance know if it is or isn’t. 

It’s registered with HP and they haven’t emailed to say there’s an issue, so I’m leaning towards it being ok. Always best to double check.

After reading your post, I did go through the Product information of your product and found that this battery is not under the battery recall program.
