I own a HP Pavilion x360 purchased in 2017 and having 13 months of extended warranty remaining. I have an issue in my battery and it is recommended to replace the battery. I was told by the support staff that battery's are not covered under extended warranty. But, as per the hp site "https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05843717",

Standard, non-removable battery:  The battery is also covered under any extended warranty purchased for the notebook up to a maximum of 3 years.

So why should not my battery be replaced under warranty?

Warranty terms for different battery types
Standard, removable battery
A Standard battery that can be removed by a customer receives a 1-year warranty. No extended warranties apply to the battery except a separate battery-only Care Pack. Care Packs may be purchased, which covers a 1-time replacement of the battery. This Care Pack terminates after you receive a battery replacement or when the service period expires on the supported product, whichever event occurs first.
Standard, non-removable battery
A Standard battery that is not customer accessible, or cannot be removed by a customer, has a warranty that matches the notebook it is embedded in. The battery is also covered under any extended warranty purchased for the notebook up to a maximum of 3 years.
A separate battery-only Care Pack may also be purchased, which covers a 1-time replacement of the battery. This Care Pack terminates after you receive a battery replacement or when the service period expires on the supported product, whichever event occurs first.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
