Battery won't Charge!

Omen 15' by HP
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So this has been ongoing, and may be exclusively a power cord/adapter problem, but my Laptop, despite being plugged in for 90% of the time, is slowly draining on power and there doesn't seem to be a way to slow it down or stop it. Please know i have Adjusted many settings regarding power saving tips, even though this really shouldn't be happening to start. my 2013 HP Envy M6 has a better battery life than this omen.

Battery won't Charge!

@VergilArcanis Welcome to HP Community!

I have a few steps listed below that should help you resolve this concern:

Unplug the charge, Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins.

Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager:

1) In the search box, type and open “Device Manager”.

2) Expand “Batteries”.

3) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.

4) Click on “Uninstall”.

5) At the prompt put a check in the box to remove the current driver

6) Shutdown the computer.

7) Remove the battery for a minute and then put it back in. (Skip this step if you have a non removable battery)

8 - When the computer comes back up it should automatically find the driver.

9) Go to Device Manager.

10) Expand Batteries.

11) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there.

12) Click "Search automatically for updated driver software"

Do the same thing with Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller.

If the issue persists, run a battery and adapter test using the steps mentioned in this link: Click here

Battery won't Charge!

Test did not reveal any problems, the battery is not removable (it's an Omen Laptop) and the battery level has not risen despite being shut off and plugged in. even deleted the old drivers, and no effect

Battery won't Charge!

@VergilArcanis Alright, did you try with an alternate power cord/adapter? or another wall outlet as well? to check if that works? if not, please do and get back to me with the results.

Battery won't Charge!

i don't have an alternative cord, but outlets definitely changed three times now at least, all confirmed to be working.

Nothing is working, but it is holding steady at 34% for the past couple days
