Hi,

 

I recently dropped my laptop accidentally and hit one of the corners. Since then I have not been able to close it because the hinge detached from the bottom case.
I am looking for the part No. of the bottom case to buy it and change it to my laptop.

 

I just found some ones that are very similar in ebay, however I´m not sure if they really fit with my model.

 

My model is 1000-1110LA and the product ID is B5M40LA#ABM

Here are all of the parts for your laptop on HP PartSurfer.  I am not certain which part you need, but hopefully, you will be able to find it.  If it is not on HP PartSurfer, you may be able to find the Part # on the inside of the case.

I really appreciate your help old_geekster. This is exactly what I was looking for (a list of parts for this notebook) and I´ve found what I was looking for (CPU base enclosure (chassis bottom).
