Same here. Our laptops get very hot when plugged into HP Thunderbolt G4 dock. When left plugged in overnight, many will have thermal shutdown overnight and users lose all open tabs etc. when logging in in the morning.

 

BIOS settings are close to default, what's changed from the G8 to G10 firmware? Power control or thunderbolt?
