My hinge has come out of its screw holes on my Envy x360 15 inch literally a month out of warranty. Has anyone been able to get this fixed for free? I refuse to pay for such a bad design flaw. If so could you please tell me the course of actions you have taken.
It's maddening that there are people out there having to pay to fix what is obviously a manufacturer design problem.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand your HP notebook hinge is separating from the unit, in order to fix this issue your computer needs to be repaired.
As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available out of warranty service options for you. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
