Pavilion M6-1035DX
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello! I am having the same problem as others have had  on our Pavilion M6-1035DX [serial number removed]  with the left side screen hinge being so stiff that it winds up breaking it's mount as well as the screen frame and laptop base.

It has gottten to where pieces are falling out of the lid and the side and top of the screen lid are broken. The top plate thatcovers the keyboard is also damaged.

We now have to not close the screen in fear of damaging the display even further. The rear (bottom) of the laptop has also broken away surrounding the hinge.

This is a GREAT machine and really would like to continue to use it. Any help resolving this popular issue would be greatly appreciated!

THANKS in advance for your attention and consideration!

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
