HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-ed1000 IDS Base Model

I just bought my Envy 360 a few months ago and it's still under warranty. I treat this thing like my baby and haven't bumped into it/dropped it/ or anything and suddenly the left hinge is slightly out-of-line. Everything is still attached, there just seems to be something wrong with the lower left corner of my screen at the hinge.  Now I can't close my laptop and something with the left hinge is putting pressure on my screen as I can start to see warping colors along the bottom. I've seen a lot of people complain about this issue. If it's still under warranty (and with so many people complaining), has HP issued any sort or recall? I've had my old HP Pavillion for over 8 years and it did great. Then I buy the new Envy and a hinge breaks off in a few months. And according to HP Support Assistant, there aren't any HP service stores in Oahu that handle consumer notebooks, only commercial ones! Every time I try to find HP support on their website to try and contact them about this issue, it reroutes me to looking up HP service stores near me...but there aren't any, since there are none in Oahu. So I'm a bit stuck on how to proceed!
