HP Envy 17 Inch Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Looking for advice on what to do with my 1.5 year old HP Envy 17 Inch Laptop (which cost me approx £1500).

The right hinge is broken and the casing is coming away. I am worried that my laptop may soon no longer function unless I get it repaired very soon.

Does anyone  have any idea if a problem like this can be successfully repaired and quickly? Also how much should I expect to pay to have it repaired....are there HP certified repair centres as I don't want to take my laptop to just anyone (lots of guys who repair PCs etc on the side but no guarantee that they won't damage my laptop for good!)

Due to Covid-19, I need to use my laptop every day to work from home.

With very high demand for laptops and PCs at present, it's not possible  to buy a replacement laptop at present anywhere, but then again I would rather not have to shell out £1500 again for a new laptop when my current one is still quite new.

Many thanks,

Emilia
