Pavillion x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Pavillion x360 laptop that is 14 months old. It has been used as a laptop and not folded over and used as a tablet even though it has that capability.  When I opened it up a few days ago, the hinge on the bottom right broke and the screen has started to pop out of the bottom corner. In researching this issue online, I see that this is a fairly common problem with these HP laptops, and yet HP is doing nothing to rectify the situation. I called customer support and they offered to fix the product for more than what it cost to purchase it in the first place., even though the computer is only 2 months out of warranty. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this?
