HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

I bought HP Envy x360 laptop in nov 2020.

From the second month I took out this laptop from the box, it has been experiencing one or the other problem, be it related to sound problem, touchpad issue, keyboard freeze or overheating.

Now, today, (everything was normal) I was using my laptop, and when i tried to close it, i heard a crack sound. I saw that the right hinge  broke, taking away with itself the screen as well.

I immediately went over to Google about this and to my surprise i found that this didn't happen only with me, but is a common problem faced by a lot of envy laptop users. This seems to be because of the faulty design and manufacturing of the hinges. I talked to a customer service representative and i was again and again told to pay for the repair.

Why should i pay for a damage due to company's defect? My laptop is well within warranty and i don't have any money to spend on the company's fault. I never expected such an experience with a premium hp product.

I expect the company to resolve this issue soon at no cost to me.
