I would like to know how I can get the "appropriate team within HP" to explain how to fix my broken hinge on my out of warranty Pavilion dv7-4287cl Entertainment PC laptop. I have read everyone elses questions and it always seems that the solution is " it has been reported to the approriate team" Still don't have a solution. The plastic fins on the left side are gone and the hinge has been dislocated. I have used Gorilla tape to tape the screen to the base, but when I open the screen the hinge fails. Please help.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
