Elite Book
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the following question.
Our cat has bitten the cable between laptop Elitebook 8440p i5-540 and power supply.
I have connected a two-pole switch between the disconnection point, the switch disconnects two wires, but the laptop is not charging.
Is there a third cable that I have to connect?
I did not find a circuit diagram on the Internet.
It would be a pity to throw away a working power supply.

Can anyone help me?
