Dear HP Team,
I want to upgrade my lap internal storage from HDD to SSD. I have HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC (i7 intel-3rd G). if I upgrade the HDD to SSD is my processor can be able to fit for it..?and there will be many chances for processor cooling issues..?
Please let me know if any.😀
Many Thanks.

Hi:
You should have no problem changing the 2.5" mechanical hard drive for a 2.5" SSD.
I think it will run cooler than a mechanical hard drive and probably uses less electricity.
Less electicity = less heat.
Here is the Crucial, India memory/SSD report for a similar g6-2200 model to yours.
https://www.crucial.in/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-g6-2200so
If you scroll down the page they have a list of compatible SSD's.
The MX models offer better read/write speeds than the BX models.
