CPU running at 98 degrees gaming, 60 degrees idle

HP Recommended
HP omen 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Omen 15 bought in May '20. Recently noticed the laptop is a lot warmer than usual so checked the CPU and GPU temperatures. GPU 80-90 degrees and CPU 98 degrees. It idles at 60+ degrees. I've tried:

1. Undervolting to -0.8 and even up (down?) -1.2 via the gaming hub

2. I've cleaned out the baffles

3. I've changed the power settings to 80% max CPU on Power Options

4. Cooling tray (whose motor burnt out which I'm sure didn't help matters, with smoke being sucked into the fans :S)

5. Updated BIOS

None of these have worked. I'm thinking I'll open a support case but thought I'd check here to see if firstly the community thinks 98 for prolonged periods is actually standard? and secondly if there are any other suggestions to reduce CPU temp.

Thanks in advance!
