Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Notebook - 15g-br011tx laptop. I want to add an SSD to it. Can it be installed internally? Or do I need to remove my optical drive and put the SSD at the same place? Also, can I clone my C drive to the SSD as my laptop comes with pre-installed Windows 10 Home?

I understand that you would like to add the SDD and clone with a hard drive.

 

I have checked the manual (page number 3).

 

Your product support dual storage conƭJuratLons (Intel Core processors only)

 

● 256 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD

● 128 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD

 

HP will not recommend clone the hard drive with SSD.
