My laptop (HP 15-db1041nm) currently has 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB), can I upgrade the RAM and what's the maximum RAM this laptop can take? I can't find this info anywhere on the internet. Thanks so much in advance! Cheers!

Your machine has AMD Ryzen™ 5 3500U with Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics (2.1 GHz base clock, up to 3.7 GHz max boost clock, 6 MB cache, 4 cores)
and manual says
It has two memory module slots (Ryzen, A9 processors):
Memory is non-customer accessible/non-upgradeable
DDR4-2400 dual channel support (Ryzen, Athlon processors)
DDR4-1866 dual channel support (A9 processors)
Supports up to 16 GB of system RAM in the following configurations:
● 16384 MB (8192 MB × 2)
● 12288 MB (8192 MB × 1 + 4096 MB × 1)
● 8192 MB (8192 MB × 1 + 4096 × 2)
● 4096 MB (4096 MB × 1)
It has 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) (red above) therefore uou can add 8GB more to the second slot. The following RAM should work
Warning : This work is for Authorized Service Provider parts only. Doing it yourself may void warranty if something went wrong due to this upgrade.

Thanks so much for your reply!
What about this RAM? https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Technology-ValueRAM-2400Mhz-KVR24S17S8/dp/B01LW6HBSM
Is it going to be compatible with this laptop? Is it going to work in dual channel 2x8GB 2400Mhz DDR4?
