Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can I add extra SSD to laptop hp 14s fq0000na is it possible , already has 256gb  m.2 drive I believe. If I can I think it needs a mount and a cable ?

Look at p. 39 of the Manual. That port is for an optional fingerprint reader. There is no way to put a 2.5 inch hard drive or SSD in there. Sorry. Please accept as solution to help others with a similar question.

No on this model the only storage comes from an M.2 SSD.

If you need more space you need to install a larger M.2
