Can I detach and place my keys back?

HP Recommended
Envy x360 convertible pc
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can I detach my keys from this product? I got some drink spilled on my arrow keys a while ago and cleaned it up, without experiencing any stickiness in the keys, but now the up and down keys are sticky, more noticeably the down key. So I made some research and saw suggestions of removing the keys with a butterknife, cleaning them out, and then placing them back, but I am unsure if I can do that with my laptop because I have had a key on an older laptop remove an it couldn't ever be placed back. Please help.
