Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello community, I want to upgrade my aunt's laptop old HDD to an SSD. I can't open the laptop to see if has an M2 slot cause I live far from my aunt's house and the information I  find on the web is a bit confusing. The model in cuestion is: HP Pavilion Notebook 15-db0011ns

In Crucial report says that this model is compatible with NVMe 4 Gen 2280

https://www.crucial.es/compatible-upgrade-for/hp-compaq/hp-15-db0011ns

As well as in Mr Memory:

https://www.mrmemory.co.uk/ssd-upgrades/hp/pavilion-notebook/15-db0011ns

But in the official product specifications I don't see any mention to M2 slot

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06058792

It's very important to me to know if this model has NVMe slot cause she wants to maintain her old drive installed. Thank you for your attention

Hi @Jabco

Yes, it has an M.2 slot for M.2 NVME disks, although it is compatible with Gen 4, it will not run at the indicated speed because the slot is Gen 3, the speed will be reduced.
