Product: hp omen 15-5114dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have a laptop hp omen 15-5114dx. I want to upgrade hard disk storage I have 256 GB ( Sandisk SD6PP4M-256G-1006). Can I upgrade 1tb m.2?

Yes but that laptop is very hard to open. Be sure to try to get a replacement rubber gasket before you take off the cover for the upgrade bay. I owned that model and I am a fair laptop tech and I chose to not upgrade the 256 gig M.2. Only laptop I have ever owned I did not somehow upgrade.

What's your suggestion, Sir. I have 256 GB ( Sandisk SDPP4M-256G-1006). it's not enough. There is no ssd support system on this laptop. I must buy a m.2. 

can I insert anyone m.2 1tb in this machine?

Any NVME M.2 should work in that slot. You might have better luck with an older device like a Samsung 950 or 960, but a current model should work OK. With M.2 SSDs its very hard to make blanket statements about what will work where I am sorry to say.

Sir, first I ordered the SSD (silicon power 1tb SSD a55) but when I open my laptop I found this m.2 (Sandisk SD6PP4M-256G-1006) link (https://www.ebay.com/c/1363755775) (to see the pics.) Now I am confused nvme m.2 has a single notch but and which I have on my machine is a double notch.

I am simply asking Sir,  my machine doest support nvme m.2 or just support m.2 stata. 

here is crucial (https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-omen-15-5114dx) they said that our nvme m.2 support this machine.

what should I buy m.2 sata or nvme m.2. I read about nvme m.2 and I really like it.

NVME one notch (B key) will fit fine in the slot and will work. Have you tried it yet?

No Sir, I have not tried any Nvme m.2. Today I am going to market for searching Nvme m.2.
