HP Pavilion Laptop PC 13-bb0000 (9WG33AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For me to do what I want to do, I need at least 16 GB RAM.  Can I upgrade by opening the case and inserting a memory?

If I cannot, what is the HP notebook model that I can get 1TB storage and 16GB RAM?  Or would it be better to buy an external storage device?

Hi:

Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade the memory as it is an integral part of the motherboard.

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade information.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

You would have to replace the system board with one listed in chapter 3 of the service manual that comes configured with 16 GB of memory.

You can see if you can buy a 13-bb0xxx notebook that comes with 16 GB of memory instead of 8 GB.
