Hi All.

This is the first time I am operating a laptop. I just want to know if it is possible to upgrade my RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB and my Graphics card also?

And if yes, I want to how it can be done. Can I do it myself or do I need to get some expert help?

Thank You.

RAM, yes. Video card, no. There is no "card" it is hard soldered into the motherboard. Modern laptops are not friendly for memory and hard drive access. Requires removal of quite a few screws and manipulation of large plastic panels that are not user friendly. But we can provide video and documentary instruction if you wish to do it yourself. Laptop can take up to 16 gigs of RAM.

Hi,

Hi,

Your system supports max  16 GB DDR3L 1600MHz  SODIMMS   (2x8GB)

For best performance and system stability (such as dual channel support) it is best idea to insert two identical sticks of RAM. You can buy kits online (2x8GB) for good prize and especially designed for this purpose.

You cannot upgrade your graphics card as it is integrated in the CPU which you can not upgrade.

On page 56 of service manual you can see the steps for upgrading RAM

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05087748

Hope it helps,

David

Also, Can I upgrade my processor for faster speeds? And if yes, then what are my options for upgrading it?

HP Recommended

You will not be able to upgrade the Processor as it is soldered to the motherboard.

You could upgrade your hard drive tio an SSD which will give a general system performance boost.

Hope it helps,

David
