Hi,

I have been looking to upgrade my screen to a higher resolution and to an ips panel. The problem is that I have never done this before and I want to make sure that the screen can be upgraded to a different one

Do I have to change the display cable? Can't I use the existing one I have with my laptop?

HP Recommended

You need to change the display cable along with the panel. Different cable is used with the FHD screen.

David
