Can I upgrade the HD to SSDS on my Pavilion x360 m3 convertible ?

 

If yes what type of SSD should I get?

The Model is HP Pavilion x360 m3 Convertible :  m3-u001dx

Hi,

There is only one drive possible in your notebook. So, you can replace the 2.5"SATA3 HDD to a 2.5" SATA3 SSD such as the Samsung 860 Evo or similar

Example:

On page 42 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive

You will need to reinstall the OS on the SSD by either using recovery disks, cloning, or clean install
