I need 2700 Mhz processor for a job I'm trying to get. Can I upgrade my system from the Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz, 2401 Mhz that my system has now?

Hi,

Looks like you ALSO have to replace the motherboard and this is a very, very, very expensive option. HP only supplies the following parts / motherboards (with CPU soldered) which may not suit your need:

Intel Core i7-4510U processor and the Windows 8.1 Standard operating system, part # 780958-501
Intel Core i7-4510U processor and a non-Windows 8 operating system, part # 780958-001
Intel Core i5-4210U processor and the Windows 8.1 Standard operating system, part # 774606-501
Intel Core i5-4210U processor and a non-Windows 8 operating system, part # 774606-001
Intel Core i3-4030U processor and the Windows 8.1 Standard operating system, part # 774607-501
Intel Core i3-4030U processor and a non-Windows 8 operating system, part # 774607-001

Regards.
