HP 14q-cs0009tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Experts,

I want to upgrade my HP Laptop HP 14q-cs0009tu with SSD but I am really confused with all terms like M.2, NVME, PCI etc.

Can you guys please guide me what is supported by this HP Model ? Can you also guide me whether the below is compatible with my HP Laptop

1. Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB PCIe NVMe M.2 (2280) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-V7S500)

2. Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA M.2 Type 2280SS Internal SSD-CT1000MX500SSD4

3. Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD - CT1000MX500SSD1(Z)

Can you please guide me whether it supports M.2, NVME, etc. and which should be best choice ?

Awaiting for your valuable advice ?

Stay Safe.....Thanks

The specs of your machine is

            https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06110779

It has  1 TB 5400 rpm SATA now. You can add M.2 SATA SSD to your machine using

                https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-mx500-ssd

                https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/860evo/

           Or similar from reputable vendors.
One example (compatible drive, can use smaller/larger capacity)

                 https://www.crucial.com/ssd/mx500/ct1000mx500ssd4/ct13451059

The MX500 M.2 SATA drive from your link should work.

My priority is super fast speed. As per Internet research NVME is said to be much faster then SATA

So does my laptop supports NVME ? If yes...Can you please provide compatible models ?

I will be thankful....
