HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cc5xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Currently I'm using a HDD of 1 tB. I want to upgrade to a m.2 SATA III ssd. I know that the laptop has the slot, but in the user manual, it says that I can only add up to 512 gB. Is this limit really true or can I add more capacity, like 1tB?

What is your HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cc5xx  ? For example

          HP Pavilion - 15-cc523ca

Your machine should be very similar, I use the above machine to answer your question. Yes, you should be able to add M.2 SATA SSD to your machine, 512GB, 1TB or 2TB.

The manual shows options for pre-installed machines.

Regards.

My laptop is the HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cc504np. So you're saying that there is no problem, right?
