HP Pavilion 15-cc593nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey all!

Just bought the HP Pavilion 15-cc593nd and this is the first laptop I own where I can't remove the battery. Normally i do that so I can leave the laptop plugged in all the time and don't have to watch the battery.

Now I can't remove the battery but still want to leave it plugged in. Can i do this without ruining my battery life?

Thanks in advance!

Yes you can. The battery is "Smart" and will handle itself just fine. Plug the laptop in when you have power, use the battery when you must. Try not to let the charge drop below about 15-20% (Li-ion batteries hate being recharged from a very deep discharge). Other than that, set it and forget it; a lot of worry gets wasted on Li-ion batteries.
