Can i upgrade this laptop? RAM / HDD

Hello, thanks in advance for the help!

 

I was  wondering if i can upgrade this laptop Ram from 4gb to 8gb. Theres only 1 slot to use as far as i know.

 

About the HDD, would it be possible to replace it by a SSD? It has a 500gb HDD at 5200 rpm. Do you have any suggestions?

 

Do you have any other upgrade suggestions?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, After reading your post, I did go through the  product specification of your product and found that your computer supports  8 GB ram installed on this PC. 

 

NOTE: HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.
