Can i use original HDD along with extra 500 GB Samsung SSD 970 EVO NVME M.2 on HP envy x360 m6 aq105dx..??

 

My original laptop came with 1TB HDD, can i add  500 GB Samsung SSD 970 EVO NVME M.2  along with the original SSD??

I will Install OS and Programs on 500GB SSD but store files on 1TB HDD. ?

Will this make my system faster.?? Does my system support this..??

Hi,

Yes, you should be able to install an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD of your preferred brand and capacity. The Samsung one you mentioned is considered one of the best.

You should also check before buying the drive if the actual physical slot is present on the motherboard.
